Jens Mueller started teaching MBA students at Northern Illinois University's Graduate School of Business in 1989. In parallel to his corporate management work, he continued there for 15 years, delivering a "Global Business Strategy" module which earned him three "Professor of the Year" awards at this AACSB-accredited school.

Now based as Associate Professor for Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Waikato Management School in Hamilton, the No.1-ranked research university in New Zealand and "Triple Crown" accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, Jens Mueller convenes several course in the area of Management Strategy, with an emphasis on "Sustainable Entrepreneurship", "Global Business Management" and "Developing Strategic Intent". He also operates the "Action Research Project" part of the MBA program, where students work as consultants to senior management and Boards of corporations. Through his extensive global network of corporate leaders, Jens connects students effectively to working managers to create a practically-relevant teaching environment and is a member and former Chair of the Executive Education Academic Advisory Panel, advising the Dean.

Jens also delivered MBA courses for Adelaide University's Graduate School of Management, Victoria University and Unitec in New Zealand, Ngee Ann/Adelaide in Singapore and the University of Neu-Ulm in Germany. He also taught "Banking Law" and "Corporate Entities" at the Waikato School of Law.
